Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Beverly Ann Blake of Kapaau, to the North Kohala
Community Development Plan Action Committee. Ms. Blake recently relocated from
California where she previously worked as a realtor, a spa director and as manager of
merchandising for Sea World San Diego. She is also a holistic health practitioner.
Beverly Ann joins her sister in North Kohala who has lived there for over 35 years.
Ms. Blake states since moving to the area, she would like to be a part of the community
who will keep "this special part of Hawai'i as beautiful as it is while helping the economy
grow". While on the mainland, Ms. Blake served on many public service organizations
and took on chairmanship roles.
Ms. Blake states she is a member of the Democratic party. If confirmed, she will serve
a term ending September 9, 2021.
