Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Sheldon Emeliano of Hawi, to the North Kohala
Community Development Plan Action Committee. Mr. Emeliano currently works for
Surety Kohala Corporation where he has worked for the past 16 years.
Sheldon was born and raised in Kohala and is a graduate of Kohala High School.
He is active with the Kohala Community Athletic Association where he coaches all
sports for the children of Kohala. Sheldon states that he wants to be a part of the No.
Kohala CDP Action Committee as he is interested in helping his hometown grow but
also wants to maintain the country lifestyle that he enjoyed as a child.
Sheldon states he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a
term ending September 9, 2020. -
