Subject -Marijuana eradication
I'm here again in support of Hawaii County Police Departmentr marijuana eradication program. We realize
that this is a controversial procedure, however, it needs to be done. All necessary requirementr must be
met and the job needs to done with greatest of caution so as not to create a negative impact in the
communities in which they work.
Those of us who have worked in the community and with young people in particular realize the damage
marijuana causes in our communities and regardless or any testimony to the opposite, it does lead to harder
drugs. This is primarily because it places the users in a different environment where they are exposed to
other destructive elements.
If we want to continue to have our island a good place to live we have to support the police in their efforts,
there is too much at stake not too.
Please continue to support this program.
