Subject: Downtown Hilo Parking Meters
Mr. Yagong:
I am writing this letter as current President, and immediate past Vice
President, of the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association (HDIA). I wish to
confirm to you that at its meeting of November 6, 1996, the Executive
Board of HDIA--at the recommendation of the HDIA Parking Committee,
approved the expenditure of up to $500.00 of HDIA funds to assist the
County of Hawaii in the removal of parking meter heads and capping of
meter posts in Vowntown Hilo.

supporting Downtown Hilo.
