SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 295-17, Draft 2; A Resolution Requesting that
the Hawai`i State Legislature Amend Chapter 92 of the Hawaii Revised
Statutes to Require Itself to be Subject to the Sunshine Law.
Please find attached Resolution No. 295-17, Draft 2. Resolution No. 295-17 was amended
by the contents of Communication No. 453.1, as duly approved by the Council during its
October 18, 2017, Council meeting.
The Council suspended Rule No. 24(1) (e), which requires the holdover of amended bills
and resolutions and adopted Resolution No. 295-17, Draft 2.
