Aloha Council members, I'm writing in support of Bill 13 to Ban Styrofoam Food Containers;
and ask that you do the same.
The facts prove time and time again that styrofoam isn't good for our bodies as a viable option
for food storage, and it's riddles our oceans and land, and detrimental to our oceans and marine
life.
Hawaii has the opportunity to be at the fore front of eco green sustainable living; this ban is
how we do it! Lastly, the cost as an individual, business owner/wholesaler is a fraction of a
difference and in many cases none at or comparable when purchasing compostable food
containers to styrofoam. Please Support Bill 13, thank you!
