Aloha,
I am submitting this written testimony to show my support for the approval of The polystyrene take-out container
ban(Bill 13).
"Styrofome"packaging has no place in today's world,there are plenty of viable alternatives and I know that Hawaii
residents are certainly willing to adapt to this improvement because we are aware of the devastation to our
ecosystem by this non-biodegradable product.
Please take my words to heart,I have been working in the public schools in Hilo for years now and want to see the
children I educate grow up and have a healthy environment.
