I beseech you to rethink this Council Resolution. >n-1
Crt?
Crushing an animal (mongoose) to death is absolutely cruel. Plain andAt ā
simple.
Killing one specie of bird to save another? Why? Why are we
condemning one specie and not the other. Makes no sense at all. They are
all beautiful birds and deserve the right to live on our beautiful Island.
Killing feral cats is also totally unnecessary. There is a controlled and
cared for colony near the Kealakehe Water Treatment Plant. My
understanding is that these cats do not go near the area you're considering
targeting. You would have to bait traps and lure them over there. Why would
you do this? They're doing no harm in their colony. And, they're not
reproducing. If you killl them however, others (not sterilized) will take their
place and you'd have to start all over again. Do you really want to do this?
Killing is bad for your soul. I say this softly, as I am considering the ones
doing the killing as well as the cats they want to kill. These humans deserve to
not taint their souls. Please think on this. It is so vitally important.
If we want peace on earth it has to start with us. We must kindle peace
inside us. And only then will we be contributing to the peace of the world.
Killing contributes to more violence and so it keeps going
Again, thanks for reading this.
