I am a resident of Hawaii and I am submitting testimony in opposition to Council Resolution 250-17, with
regard to the Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant.
It would seem that at every turn some group is proposing a means to inhumanely target and kill the feral
cat population on Hawaii. I see no spirit of aloha when,it comes to these creatures of God, these heinous
acts make a mockery of that spirit. The feral cats are being cared for by organizations such as Advocats
and loving and caring residents of Hawaii and are being spayed or neutered and fed by these same
residents. I am appalled that such a resolution would be proposed and that this horrible trap would be
used that could so violently kill unsuspecting birds and small feral cats. I urge you to reconsider passing
such a resolution.
