Council Resolution 250-17 is cruel and inhumane.There is no reason to entice feral cats onto the Kealakehe
Wastewater treatment plant premises using bait traps.These cats would be brought to the Humane Society and
killed.
Since the contractor hired stated that the birds are currently thriving in the area even without this additional predator
control,why there is a need to kill additional animals?The traps used to kill the mongoose are horrific.Why would
cattle egrets be shot?This resolution is not compatible with Hawaii's Aloha spirit.We can do much better than this.
