Your Committee on Economic Development , to which was referred
'Resolution No . 491-88 , regarding the threat of damage to Hawaii 's
Macadamia crop by the Cryptophlebia moth, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No . 491-88 is to encourage the EPA to
expedite approval of Isomate M in Hawaii as a treatment against the
pest which is causing significant loss to Hawaii 's Macadamia crop . •
Your Committee on Economic Development concurs with Resolution
No . 491-88 and recommends its adoption .
