Your Committee on Economic Development to which was referred
'Communication No. 298, reports as follows :
This communication reports on a meeting of the Hawaii State
Association of Counties Planning and Economic Development Committee
held on September 13, 1985 at City Hall.
The Committee discussed the Coastal Barrier Resource Act of 1982 and
the impact this federal legislation would have on this county.
Further , the Chair read into the records a communication from
Maxine Correa, Chairperson, HSAC Planning and Economic Development
Committee transmitting a copy of a letter to J. Craig Potter, Acting
Assistant Secretary, Fish and Wildlife and Parks, requesting for a
time extension to submit comments on this matter .
Your Committee on Economic Development is transmitting
