Your Committee on Economic Development to which was referred
'Resolution No. 331-87 , reports as follows:
The purpose of this resolution is to commend United Airlines on its
foresight of relocating the Pacific Division headquarters from
Chicago to Honolulu .
Your Committee agrees that Hawaii is an important gatewate to Asia
and the South Pacific. This planned relocation will have positive
overtones and enhance the economy of our State as well as our
Counties .
Your Committee on Economic Development concurs with Resolution
No. 331-87 and recommends its adoption .
