Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 48488 , regarding the naming of streets , reports as follows :
The purpose of this resolution is to name roadways in
Kealakehe Houselots, Phase II, Inc. 1, Kealakehe, North Kona ,
Hawaii ® The resolution names the roadways illustrated in Exhibit "A"
of the resolution, Ho'oloa Street and Ho 'oloa Place , which translate
to: "to stretch, extend and lengthen" and Lania Place, which
translates to: "to warm, toast , or wilt over a fire . "
Pursuant to Chapter 22, Article 2, Section 2235, Hawaii County Code,
the County Council is authorized to adopt street
names for
Hawaii County' s unnamed roadways.
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No® 484-88 and
recommends its adoption.
