Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 482-88, regarding the naming of streets , reports as follows :
The purpose of this resolution is to name roadways in the
Panaewa Hillcrest Subdivision, Units I & II , Waiakea, South Hilo ,
Hawaii . The resolution names the roadways illustrated in Exhibit "A"
of the resolution, Waianuhea Place and Waianuhea Way, which
translates as "cool fragrance as of the upland forests . "
Pursuant to Chapter 22, Article 2, Section 22-35, Hawaii County Code ,
the County Council is authorized to adopt street names for
Hawaii County ' s unnamed roadways .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No. 48288 and
