Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication
No. 1734 , reports as follows :
Communication No . 1734 announces the appointment of Mr . Dan Barnes to
the Board of Ethics to replace Dr . William Bergin.
He will fill the unexpired term of Dr . Bergin, whose term will expire
on December 31, 1991 .
This appointment is being made in accordance with the provisions of
Section 14-5, Hawaii County Charter .
Your Committee on Planning recommends approval of the appointment of
Dan Barnes to the Board of Ethics .
