Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 462-88 , regarding conflicting land use designations (State Land
Use, General Plan and Zoning) within several subdivisions on the
Big Island , reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No . 462-88 is to request the
Planning Director to formulate a plan of action to resolve
conflicting land use designations and to advise the Council , in
writing , within 60 days of the adoption of this resolution as to:
1 ) names of affected subdivisions , 2) plans on how this problem
should be approached , and 3 ) the estimated cost of the project .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 462 and
recommends its adoption .
