Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 434-88, regarding Congressional legislation which would permit
disabled career veterans who are retired from the armed forces to
receive both full military retirement pay and full Veterans '
Administration disability compensation, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No. 434-88 is to support the intent and
purpose of S. 2120 , introduced by U. S . Senator Spark Matsunaga, to
allow disabled career veterans to receive both military pensions and
disability compensation.
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 434-88 and
recommends its adoption.
