Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No. 427-88, regarding the naming of streets , reports as follows:
The purpose of this resolution is to name roadways in
Makaula Subdivision. The resolution names the roadways illustrated
in Exhibit "A" of the resolution, Makaula Road and Makaula Place,
which is translated as "Name of land section; red eye" .
Pursuant to Chapter 22 , Article 2, Section 22-35 , Hawaii County Code,
the County Council is authorized to adopt street names for
Hawaii County ' s unnamed roadways .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No. 427-88 and
recommends its adoption .
