Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 426-88 , regarding the naming of streets , reports as follows :
The purpose of this resolution is to name roadways in Ohia Estates
Subdivision. The resolution names the roadways illustrated in
Exhibit "A" of the resolution, Alaohia Street , Liona. Street,
Nahelenani Street and Uliuli Street , which translate to "Ohia Road" ,
"Lion" , "Beautiful forest" and "Green, as in vegetation" ,
respectively .
Pursuant to Chapter 22, Article 2 , Section 22-35 , Hawaii County Code ,
the County Council is authorized to adopt street names for Hawaii
County ' s unnamed roadways .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 426-88 and
recommends its adoption .
