Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 419-88 , regarding the naming of a road reserve , referred to as
"Roadway H" , at Greenwell Park, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No. 419-8'8 is to assign the name Alika Road
in honor of the late Mr . Alex Smith , who was very instrumental in
persuading Kealakekua Ranch to donate a 40-foot wide parcel to the
County of Hawaii to accommodate "Roadway H" and an expansion of the
baseball field .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 419-88 and
recommends its adoption .
