Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
413. 390-88, regarding the Veterans Cemetery in Hilo, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 390-88 is to support the Veterans
Cemetery Advisory Committee 's request for funding from the State
Legislature for a one-time grant of $6,000 to purchase a portable
canopy and indoor-outdoor carpeting for use during burial servicesto
assure that those who served their country in wars and conflicts will
be buried with dignity.
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution .No. 390-88 and
recommends its adoption. .
