Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 378-87 , regarding reparation to Americans of Japanese ancestry
who were relocated and interned during World War II, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 378-87 is to urge a unanimous agreement
by the United States Senate on S . 1009 . The purpose of S . 1009 is to
accept the findings and to implement the recommendations of the
Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 378-87 and
recommends its adoption .
