Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 367-87 , regarding street names , reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No . 367-87 is to name two roadways within
the Kinue Terrace Subdivision, Kealakekua, South Kona , illustrated in
Exhibit "A" of the resolution , as follows:
1 . Aka Ala Street , meaning Arthur
2 . Pa 'ikapahu Street, meaning strike the drum; name of
a heiau
The County Council is authorized to adopt street names pursuant to
Section 22-35 , Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii County Code .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 367-87 and
recommends its adoption .
