Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
No . 366-87 , regarding street names , reports as follows:
Resolution No . 366-87 : ( 1 ) names the roadway in the
Kinohou Subdivision, Puukapu, South Kohala (illustrated in Exhibit
"A" of the resolution ) , Kinohou Street, meaning beginning or first;
new body and ( 2 ) changes the name of a street in the Kuhio Village
Subdivision , Puukapu , South Kohala, from Kauikeouli Street to
Kauikeaouli Street , meaning Kamehameha III .
The County Council is authorized to adopt and change street names
pursuant to Section 22-35 , Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii County Code .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No . 366-87 and
recommends its adoption .
