Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
�No . 340-87 , regarding congressional authorization to construct a
Veteran ' s Administration Medical Center in Hawaii , reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No . 340-87 is to commend
U . S . Senator Spark Matsunaga for spearheading the introduction of
legislation to authorize the construction of a
Veteran ' s Administration Medical Center in Hawaii . The legislation '
is co-sponsored by U . S . Senator Daniel Inouye in the Senate and
Representatives Daniel Akaka and Patricia Saiki in the House of
Representatives . •
Your Committee on. Planning concurs with Resolution No . 340-87 and
recommends its adoption .
