Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication 1037 ,
reports as follows:
Communication 1037 is a report from Councilwoman Merle K. Lai on what
had transpired at the March 27 , 1987 meeting of the Subcommittee on
the Rotation of HSAC' s Administration.
While Communication 1037 was submitted to the Committee on Planning
for information only, Councilwoman Lai requested that committee
members share their opinion on the subject matters being considered
by the Subcommittee, as stated in the communication .
Your committee agreed that the City and County of Honolulu 's
Municipal Reference & Records Center should be used to store HSAC
records . Further , your committee recommended that the plan to hire
an executive director be deferred for further study andthat the
'87-88 budget , as previously approved , be maintained .
Your Committee on Planning recommends that Councilwoman Lai relay
these recommendations to the Subcommittee on the Rotation of HSAC 's
Administration.
