Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution
/No . 294-87 , regarding Skipper Dennis Connor 's recent victory in the
America ' s Cup yacht race, reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution No. 294-87 is to extend congratulations to
Mr . Connor and the crew of the yacht Stars and Stripes . The
resolution also urges the American yachting community to select
Hawaii as the site of the 1990-91 America ' s Cup races .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No. 294-87 and
recommends its adoption.
