Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred
Communication No. 906,,, regarding rotation of Hawaii State Association
of Counties (HSAC) administration responsibilities, reports as
follows:
HSAC President Takashi Domingo has requested that each county discuss
the issue involving the rotation of HSAC administration
responsibilities and submit its findings and recommendations to the
Executive Committee.
The Kauai County Council has recommended that the Executive Committee
appoint a special advisory/study committee consisting of a
councilmember and staff person from each county to discuss this issue.
Your Committee recommends that the Hawaii County Council support the
recommendation of the Kauai County Council, as stated above.
