Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication 841,
reports as follows :
Communication 841 announces the appointment of Tommy Ishimaru to the
Planning Commission, to fill a vacancy which will be created when the
term of Barbara Ann Koi expires on December 31, 1986. If his
appointment is confirmed by the Council, Mr . Ishimaru will serve
until December 31, 1991.
Mr . Ishimaru is an independent businessman and resides in Kau.
This appointment is being made in accordance with the provisions of
Section 5-4. 3 of the Hawaii County Charter .
Your Committee on Planning recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . Ishimaru to the Hawaii County Planning Commission.
