Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred
'Communication No . 763 , reports as follows:
Communication 763 is a report from Councilman Takashi Domingo,
President of the Hawaii State Association of Counties , of the
Executive Committee meeting of September 5 , 1986 .
In reference to scheduling of mid-year conferences of the Hawaii
State Association of Counties, Councilman Domingo recommended that
Hawaii County support the proposal of Maui Council Chairman Goro
Hokama that:
1 . The mid-year conference shall not be held in the same county
that hosts the year-end conference (annual meeting )
immediately preceding a mid-year conference.
2. The mid-year conference shall be rotated and no county shall
host the mid-year conference for two successive years.
Your Committee on Planning agrees with Councilman Domingo and
recommends that the Hawaii County Council support the proposal of
Maui Council Chairman Goro Hokama .
