Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Bill No. 210,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 210 repeals Ordinance No® 83-55 which amended
Section 25-1148 Article 3, Chapter 25 of the Hawaii County Code, in
its entirety.
In December, 1983, Ordinance 83-55 rezoned a 238761 square foot
property from Single Family Residential (RS -10) to Office Commercial
(CO -20)®
The property owner, Ichiro Matsunaga, wrote to the Planning Director
on April 21, 1986, stating "At this time, I wish to request approval
to cancel the zoning change and revert back to single-family
residential (RS -10) as soon as possible."
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 210 and recommends that it pass first reading®
