Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Bill No . 166 ,
reports as follows:
Bill No . 166 amends Chapter 25 , Article 3 , of the Hawaii County Code
by repealing Sections 25-91 through 25-95 , inclusively, by adding new
sections . Sections 25-91 through 25-95 represent five zone maps
which currently apply to the North and South Kohala Districts .
The bill adopts eight new zone maps to replace the five current zone
maps . The bill does not change existing zoning designations
applicable to lands covered by the current five zone maps . The
proposed new maps will show more clearly the various zoning
designations within the North and South Kohala Districts .
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill No . 166 and recommends that it pass first reading.
