Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred
Resolution No . 143-86 regarding Senator Spark M. Matsunaga 's
amendment of an Ad Valorem port use tax, reports as follows:
The purpose of this resolution is to commend Senator Matsunaga for
his vigorous efforts to propose equitable legislation beneficial to
Hawaii and its residents .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No. 143-86 and
recommends its adoption.
