Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred
Communication No. 397 , reports as follows :
Communication No. 397 consists of two memoranda:
1 . A memorandum from Councilman Russell Kokubun,
Chairman, Subcommittee on Agriculture and Energy,
to Councilpersons Takashi Domingo, Chairman,
Committee on Planning, and Lorraine Jitchaku,
Chairperson, Committee on Economic Development ,
suggesting that (a ) his subcommittee be made a
gg g
subcommittee of both Planning and
Economic Development Committees and that (b) the
chairpersons of both of these standing committees
be members of the subcommittees .
2. A memorandum from Councilmembers Takashi Domingo
and Lorraine Jitchaku, to Council Chairman Stephen
Yamashiro , advising the Chairman of their support
of Councilman Kokubun 's recommendations .
Your Committee on Planning supports the recommendations of
Councilman Kokubun and recommends that appropriate actions be taken
to implement his plan.
