Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 120
regarding street names , reports as follows :
The purpose of this resolution is to name the roadway within the
Kona-Ooma View Lots Subdivision, Ooma Homesteads , North Kona ,
Hawaii . The resolution names the roadway, shown in Exhibit "A" of
the resolution, Akina Place , after the original owners of the land .
Pursuant to Chapter 22, Article 2, Section 22-35 , Hawaii County Code,
the County Council is authorized to adopt street names for Hawaii
County's unnamed roadways .
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No. 120 and
recommends it approval .
