Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication
No. 157 , reports as follows:
Communication No. 157 announces the appointment of Gary Mizuno to the
Planning Commission to replace Roy Kagawa, whose term has expired .
Mr . Mizuno resides in Hilo. His term will expire on
December 31 , 1989 .
This appointment is being made in accordance with the provisions of
Section 5-4.3 and 13-4 of the Hawaii County Charter .
Your Committee on Planning recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . Gary Mizuno to the Planning Commission and requests his presence
at the Council meeting at which confirmation is to be held.
