Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication
No. 156, reports as follows :
Communication No. 156 announces the appointments of Mr . Rudy Hart and
Ms . Laura Chock to the Water Commission to replace William Green and
Jitsuo Kotake, respectively, whose terms have expired.
Rudy Hart resides in Honokaa. His term will expire on December 31 ,
1989 .
Laura Chock resides in Hilo. Her term will expire on December 31,
1989.
These appointments are being made in accordance with the provisions
of Section 8-2 & 13-4 of the Hawaii County Charter .
Your Committee on "Planning recommends approval of the appointments of
Mr . Rudy Hart and Ms . Laura Chock to the Water Commission and
requests their presence at the Council meeting at which confirmation
is to be held.
