Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 389-17, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 389-17, transmitted by Finance Director, Deanna S. Sako, via Communication
No. 576 dated October 26, 2017; authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of
more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease for one loader.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement at an estimated
monthly cost of$5,400. The equipment would be used by the Department of Public Works,
Highways Division, to be stationed at the Kona roads baseyard. The County will own the
equipment at the end of the lease.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 389-17,
and recommends its adoption.
