No. 393-17 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 12:10 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 393-17, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 393-17, transmitted by Finance Director, Deanna S. Sako, via Communication <br /> No. 580 dated October 26, 2017, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of <br /> more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease for one sewer cleaning truck. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement at an estimated <br /> monthly cost of$7,300. The equipment would be used by the Department of Environmental <br /> Management, Wastewater Division, to clean sewer main lines and service laterals as well as <br /> remove material from lift station wet wells, treatment plant tanks, and channels.
