SUBJECT: Discussion with Joseph Kamelamela, Corporation Counsel on use of
Contingency Relief Funds
I am respectfully requesting forty five minutes of time for a discussion with Mr. Kamelamela
regarding public purpose and process for contingency relief funds. Specifically, I think it would
be beneficial to the public, to Council Members, and Corporation Council to be on the same page
regarding who determines public purpose and to come to understanding on appropriate and
consistent policy on contingency relief fund approval and denial.
Please refer this matter to the appropriate Committee. Should you have any questions, please do
