SUBJECT: Proposed amendments to Bill No. 80: A Bill for an Ordinance Amending
Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983
(2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Moving Vehicles.
Please see below a proposed amendment to Bill No. 80. The proposed change is "housekeeping"
in nature and will not affect the content or purpose of the bill.
The proposed amendment is described below and illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to
the contents of Bill No. 80; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken and material to be
added is underscored.
The ramseyer provision contained in SECTION 2 of the Bill is amended to read:
"[Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. In printing this ordinance, the
, : . - ' -- - . - '. -- -: :- •- .. :.] New material is
underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included."
A draft copy of what would be Bill No. 80, Draft 2, if this proposed amendment is adopted, is
not provided due to the limited scope of this proposed amendment. Thank you for your attention
