SUBJECT: Proposed amendment to Resolution 401-17
Below please find a proposed amendment to Resolution 401-17, transferring District 4
Contingency Relief Funds to the Department of Parks and Recreation to assist with expenses
incurred from providing public safety at the 2017 KWXX Ho'olaule'a.
The proposed amendment is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to Resolution 401-
17; material to be added is underscored. Due to the limited scope of the proposed amendment, a
copy of the Resolution that will result if the amendment is adopted,has been intentionally
omitted.
The final Whereas clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requested funding assistance
for the reimbursement of expenses related to hiring special-duty police officers and security
personnel for traffic control and public safety at the 2017 KWXX Ho`olaule`a; now, therefore,"
