RESOLUTION NO. 442 17
RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FULL TIME EQUIVALENT (FTE)
STATUS OF A CUSTODIAN/GROUNDSKEEPER I POSITION
FROM A QUARTER-TIME POSITION TO BECOME A HALF-TIME
POSITION
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department is requesting to
change the FTE status of their Hamakua Custodian/Groundskeeper I position
from a quarter-time position to become a half-time position; and
WHEREAS, this change is needed in order to provide better recruitment
and retention potential as well as to more accurately reflect current staffing
utilization and needs; and
WHEREAS, funds for this change in FTE status are by the unfunding of
their quarter-time North Hilo Custodian/Groundskeeper I position; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that position 00-04769, Custodian/Groundskeeper I, be changed from a quarter-
time position, to become a half-time position.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted
to the Hawai`i County Police Department, Finance, and Human Resources
Departments.
