Dear Chair Poindexter and Council Members:
RE: Communication 643, nomination of Arne Werchick to the Board of Appeals
On behalf of Mayor Kim, this letter serves to revise the term expiration date
indicated on Communication 643, nominating Arne Werchick to the Board of Appeals.
Our office took steps to clarify the term for this seat with the Planning Department
and was provided with the information previously noted. However, after submitting the
original nomination letter, we were informed by staff from the department that a
correction is needed.
Please note that, if confirmed, Mr. Werchick will serve a term ending December
31, 2018 instead of 2021. Further, he will then be eligible for reappointment to a full
term if considered.
We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication and thank you for your
understanding.
