Real Time Captioning of Televised County Council Meetings
We support the recommendation of the Committee on People with Disabilities that the
County provide for real time captioning of the televised County Council and committee
meetings.
Our youngest son is deaf, and on his behalf and as well as on behalf of our friends who
aze deaf, we encourage the Council to provide this captioning so that members of the
public who are hard of hearing or deaf can view and understand the Council proceedings
on an equal 'oasis with hearing people.
