RESOLUTION NO. 4444 1.8
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO
PAINTING THE INTERIOR OF KEKUAOKALANI GYMNASIUM.
WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation provides safe, clean, enjoyable,
accessible, and aesthetically pleasing facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Kekuaokalani Gymnasium was built in 1993 and is in need of interior
painting to prevent further deterioration; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has identified a need for paint and
p
supplies to maintain the Kekuaokalani Gymnasium; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to assist with expenses related to painting the interior of Kekuaokalani
Gymnasium.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,400
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
