RESOLUTION NO. 446 11.8
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION,RECREATION DIVISION FOR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES,
SPECIAL EVENTS,AND MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES AND EXPENSES IN
DISTRICT 1.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division provides a
diversified recreation program that addresses the needs and interests of the respective
communities in a safe environment with zero tolerance for illegal drugs and violence; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division requests
funds for District l's recreational activities, special events, and miscellaneous supplies and
expenses; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division for recreational activities, special events, and
miscellaneous supplies and expenses in District 1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
