As a merrier on the Mayors Committee on People With Disabilfies I am
in full support with the Real Time Captioning and request that it be provided on
the December 14, 1999 Finance Committee meeting.
I understand that Real Time Captioning was deferred on the
November 16"' Finance meeting. This is the fourth Dime the issue has been
deferred.
Arrangements have been made for someone fA come from Honolulu to
attend the December 14'" meeting. She will explain what is required to provide
Real Time Captioning and ~e costs associated with this service. Delays can only
invite a avil action suit which has occurred in ~e County of Kauai..
