Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 452-18, reports as follows:
Resolution 452-18, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication
No. 659 dated December 14, 2017, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of
more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease of one bucket truck for the Department of Public
Works.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement at an estimated
monthly cost of$2,617. The equipment would be used by the department's Traffic Division for
streetlight installation and maintenance. The County will own the equipment at the end of the
lease.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 452-18,
and recommends its adoption.
